Landmark status for the Warehouse moves to City Council for vote.
Good Morning! I’ll be live-tweeting the Chicago City Council’s Committee on Zoning, Landmarks, and Building Standards meeting for @CHIdocumenters #CHIdocumenters. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m.

Chairman Ramirez-Rosa(35) calls the meeting to order and begins the roll call.
We have a quorum. Approval of Rule 45 Minutes for the April and May meetings is approved.
On to deferred items. There are listed items on pages 11 & 23 that have been deferred.
The chairman moves on to the public commentary period. The two public speakers support the landmarking of the Warehouse, known as one of the birthplaces of house music. The historic nightclub is located at 206 South Jefferson Street.
The public comment section ends. The appointment of Mayor Brandon Johnson as a member of the Public Building Commission passes.
