Mary Ratliff is presenting the ICJA meeting timeline with their August 22 meeting being cancelled as they begin preparing their report with content created by September 23,2024 with review on October 22, 2024 and final report review being completed by December 19th

Recommendation has been given for research report on the top causes of violence that is faced for women in Chicago

1 and 5 every missing case is sex trafficking in Chicago. For Black women domestic violence is the highest cause.

A suggestion for equal weight to be provided towards both human and sec trafficking as well as domestic violence that is the leading cause of death for Black women in Chicago

More so there is a distinct intersection of both within Chicago

A suggestion on gender identity inclusiveness has also been brought up

There are hopes to collaborate with the Trevor Project to further this research and best practices

An ask for both financial and legislative support for the task-force and human trafficking service providers. However only $100,000 is set aside for these service providers

More funding would be helpful for survivors who may not feel comfortable speaking with police
