Moving to New Business.
McNamara, Phillips, and Ruth abstained. This was approved.
Several members attended the Mackinaw Policy Conference and Hill Day.
CMHAM Conference, Mr. Parker will be nominated at the fall conference for the treasurer position.
*Metro Region Meeting will be hosted by DWIHN, date TBD.
*Budget Hearing (joint Finance and Program Compliance Committee Meeting) will be August 7, 2024.
Budget timeline will be submitted by July 3rd.
Two new investigators have been hired.
DHHS reviewed and accepted their assessment plan of correction.
Abuse and neglect cases and time they are open will be reported in agendas going forward.
SUD Oversight Board has extensive overview of current opioid epidemic presentation. A presentation by the comms dept about Mental Heath Youth Council was given.
Down River Care Center have negotiated price under costs and will be moving forward on closing.
Updates on Provider Stability Plan include increased rates on several CPT codes and a value based payment offering opportunities to expand the network.
Easter Seals is a 501c3 that provides comprehensive behavioral health services. There is over 900 staff serving 25,000 people every year.
Suggestion to offer mental health days at teen wellness center.
Asking for increase in pay and mental health days. Also expresses a need for short and long term disability.
3, 4, & 5 from Teen Wellness Center has concerns about public contract.
